Replacement non-drive side rear wheel spoke - came in the mail -- Also too long!

Purchased on eBay.

Came in the mail.

Unused (new) replacement spoke.

It was advertised to be 301.5 mm long.

Measured the length...

307 mm.  Too long again!

Same length as the silver one that cross-threaded.

Oh well.

I think I give up...
