The Kennedy tool chest in the top middle of this picture (sitting over the wooden Gerstner tool case), has casters mounted on the bottom (someone else installed many decades ago, judging by the casters), which made it pretty unstable sitting on top of the Gerstner tool case.
Because of the leather handle on the top of the Gerstner tool case, you can't just set the Kennedy tool chest on top.
So, I cut a couple spacer blocks to get the casters just off the top of the Gerstner case & to just clear the leather handle on the top of the Gerstner.
It worked out pretty good.
Now the setup is pretty stable and don't move around when the drawers are being used.
The middle drawer on the Kennedy chest (drawer #6) is where I keep some scissors, Allen key sets, box-cutter, etc.
The drawer get's used a lot...
