This is a very interesting graph.
Looks like the late '70s was pretty competitive.
1966 looks competitive too.
2009 was too.
The days when NASCAR was relatable because the cars were based on production cars & parts had to be homologated.
Neat wheels. Look just like the ones on my 914 (mine were made by Mahle).
