Tuning in on the rear derailleur shifting with the "wider" range cassette...

The old worn out cassette is soaking in the container on the right.
In the glass jar, on the left, is the chain that's soaking in the cleaning solution.
They've been sitting in the containers for several days now and are ready to be taken out and the finished cleaning process...


These two small screws are what holds the rear derailleur hanger onto the bike.
They were slightly loose.
Using a small Allen wrench, tightened them...


I adjusted the rear derailleur rotation adjusting screw so that the chain engagement to the rear cassette gear is a little further back on the gear.
The idea is to make it a little easier for the chain to move from gear to gear...
