Saturday, October 3, 2020 -- Model T club swap meet in Fullerton

This is the first swap meet I've attended since March.  It's in the back of a church.  Not very many people selling and not too many people attending but it was still good to be at an event.  Everyone wore masks, it's outdoors and generally, people respected some distance.
I got there at 7 AM and was done looking/shopping in 20 minutes.  I spent $2 (probably the least in a long time).

I bought a New Mexico license plate (takes up very little space) and a box of old car magazines and brochures.  The magazines are from the 90s and I'll read/flip-through them before either recycling them or passing them onto someone to also peruse before they get recycled.  The  There were a few things I wanted to buy but since cleaning the garage, I've decided to make a more concerted effort to only buy stuff that's either very small and/or extremely desirable.

There was nothing I could not live without.  In the past, I would have bought at least one of the items that got my attention but not this time.  I need to reduce my "stock" and don't want to add to it without decreasing it some.

The 1915 California license plate is very cool...

My friend CR told me about this swap meet being on.  This is one of his trucks & he's selling stuff to thin down his stock.  He did really well in moving stuff on.
