Applied some grease on the bolt that holds the crank arms in place (this will make it easier to remove). |
Also applied some grease on the tapered square end to ease removal later. (aluminum on steel so a grease layer is also helpful for dis-similar metal corrosion). |

The bolt was torqued down to a pretty high level (by feel... about 30 to 40 lb-ft, I would guess). |
The inner ring has good clearance to the chainstay tube. The bottom bracket that I bought is the right size. |

The bottom bracket rotates smoothly with no play. |
