Flat Files -- Putting on Casters -- Put the drawers back in -- Part 3

Turned the cabinet right side up, on it's wheels.  Note that the cabinet is pretty dirty.  Also, there's what looks like white paint  on the one side...

Ready for the drawers to go back in.

The casters have bolt heads that stick up into the drawer space.

Installed the bottom drawer.  The drawers are designed with some clearance on the bottom side.  This clearance is just enough to clear the bolt heads for the casters, fortunately!

There's a few mm of clearance...

The top of the cabinet has two holes pre-stamped towards the front of the cabinet top.  There's a matching hole at the bottom of the cabinet.  These holes can be used to bolt units on top of each other.  There's a blanking plug that needs to be removed.  It just pops off.

There's an air gap between the hole in the top of this cabinet and the bottom of the cabinet that would sit on top of it.  The air gap is about 3/4".  I'll place a piece of plywood between the two cabinets before bolting them together, when the time comes...

All the drawers are back in and all of them work smoothly.

Last step is to clean the outside of the cabinet.

Scrubbed off the white paint from the LH side of the cabinet (compare to the first picture above).

Cleaned the top.  Done & ready to go home.
