| Sprayed penetrating oil on both skewers and let it sit for at least a day. The front skewer after removal. The shaft was stuck to the center hub of the wheel. Had to use a little bit of force to get it out. The springs are corroded and one of them is broken. Both need to be replaced. This skewer is a replacement skewer I installed several years ago (3?). |

| The "nut" on the other end is pretty corroded. May not be able to clean. Will have to try and see. |

| The lever end of the skewer is not as bad. May be able to clean it up to usable condition. |

| The rear skewer had much less corrosion. |
