| Need to clean the old grease off the ball bearings |

| All parts are clean and ready for assembly |
 |
| Grease first applied to the bearing race |
 |
| Now the balls will stay in place when located on the race (on both ends) |
 |
| Install the shaft & the outer bearing race (the part with the flats on it) |
 |
| Then a washer (with a notch so that it doesn't rotate) |
 |
| Then the nut to lock the outer bearing race in place to keep the right amount of play around the bearings. |

| Done (nuts on the outside are for installation on the bike |
