Turned out that the two outlets are on different circuit breakers! I assumed that making sure that one was out would mean the other would also be out. But, I was wrong. Also, the new GFCI I bought, I assumed, would be wired the same way as the old ones that I'm replacing. Wrong again! They were wired opposite to the old ones... |
Installed screw-less surrounds for a nice clean look. Turned out pretty nice. When the GFCI trips, an amber LED comes on. If there's a wiring fault, a red LED will come on. |
