Tuesday, April 1, 2025 - Move from Florence to Lake Como (Molina)

Florence's old train station's architecture is very distinctly of mid-century design.

The train station at Como di Giovanni (the main town on the southern end of the lake).

We needed to take the #31 bus to a town near our Air-bnb.
But, weren't sure where the bus will stop.
There was this sign in the area outside the train station that listed bus #31 so we thought it would stop here.
But it didn't.
All the busses actually stopped in the same area, in front of  the train station.
We bought tickets inside the train station for the bus to Molina, the small town where the Air-bnb is closest to.
 

When we got to Molina, we texted the owner of the Air-bnb, who drove down to pick us up & drove us up the the place, about 1/2 mile up the hill from Molina.
He had to drive through molina where the old Fiat Panda barely fit through the paths between the buildings (he had to fold the mirrors in some places).

The owner had recently remodeled the room we were staying in.
Very clean and classy remodel.

He also remodeled the dining room on the left.
We had breakfast (included) in the dining room both mornings we were there and had dinner there the first night.
It's a bit hard to see, but there's a reflection of Lake Como in the large windows on the left.
