| I brought the fork home hoping that there will be a piece of tubing somewhere in the garage that will be just the right size to help "press" the bottom bearing race onto the fork. This is the handle to the orange floor jack. It happens to be just the right diameter to fit the fork... |

| Just the right size. Simply gently "slam" the bearing race into the jack handle repeatedly to force the race onto the bottom of the fork... |

| The race is "pressed" onto the bottom of the fork. Now it can be reinstalled on the frame with the rest of the headset... |

| Temporary homes for two Alfa Spyder gauges (on top of the Lancia dash) and one Alfa Romeo Giulia gauge (sitting where the steering column would be on the dash). If I find better homes, I'll move these but they're OK here for now (not in the way and kinda on display). |

| This headlamp pod was previously hung in the rafters. I took it down because it was too heavy and was previously hung where it was causing tool much load on the cross beam. Need to find a new home for it... |

| In order to move the Lancia dash where I wanted it, I had to move all the stuff that was waiting on the tall flat file. Most of it ended up temporarily on the back counter. It was nice while it was clear... |

| The upper drawer is random stuff storage. After this picture, I found space in the gray flat file for about a third of what's in this drawer. What limits the transfer is that the gray flat file drawers are shallower than this drawer... Ultimately, I would like to move everything out and put tools in this drawer... |

| The Lancia Dash doesn't fit so I need to move this tool box and base over to the left, as much as possible. |

| The Kennedy box, just to the left of the one that needs to be moved, was an ex-Douglas box. It has this sticker on the side of it (Douglas merged with McDonnell in 1967 to form McDonnell Douglas, so this box is most likely pre-1967.). |

| Although it's not centered on the red Snap-on box, it's still stable and more importantly, the load applied to the flat file, through the Snap-on box, is still focused on the rear edge & right corner of the flat file, which is the strongest part of the flat file. |

| It's a tight fit but it's in there. Later, at some point, I'll probably move the tool box on the right of the dash an inch or two over so that the dash isn't so "jammed" in. But for now, it's OK. |

| The top of the dash is covered in black leather, which is probably about 55 years old (?). It's very dry and some of it has cracked off in places but overall, it's mostly there and in one piece. I applied some leather conditioner all over... |

| This is the leather conditioner I used. It goes on wet looking (shiny) but dries to a kind of a satin level of gloss. |

| The piece of leather that wraps the instrument cluster is a separate piece and stitched to the larger main piece. The shine level is due to the conditioner having been just applied and has not "dried" yet... |

| Also applied the conditioner on this old/vintage leather jacket. This jacket was very dry when I got it (it was very dull and dry looking). The conditioner also helps with the flexibility of the leather (less likely to crack). Again, it's a little too shiny because the conditioner has not been absorbed/dried yet... |

| All of these came from the annual Porsche Swap Meet at the LAX Hilton, over the last couple of years... Haven't counted but probably more than 200... This scale model cars (1/87 or HO scale) is where all the collecting started from about 30 years ago... |
