Saturday, June 7, 2025 - Fixed the Gaggia espresso machine

The Gaggia espresso machine stopped having output.

Based on what I found online, the likely cause is a clogged orifice in the solenoid that allows water flow to the brewing head.

Found a YouTube video showing how to take the machine apart to get to the solenoid.

Then, how to take the solenoid apart to clear the blockage.\Followed the instructions & it was a successful repair.

First, take the top cover off.
Need to disconnect a couple of grounding wires on the cover also.

Have to take the pump out to get access to the solenoid.
Also needed to remove some wires to get access to the mounting hardware.

This is the solenoid.
Have to remove it from the machine and take it apart to clear the orifice.
