Thanksgiving Holiday, 2022 -- Fairbanks Alaska -- Part 11 - Tuesday, 11/22 - House
Looked outside a little after midnight.
The sky was light pretty cloudy.
I think lit by far above & away aurora activity.
The house was pretty comfortable.
Nice to have the house to ourselves.
The large picture window looks out towards open space.
Nice to not have any other houses/building in the view.
The kitchen was stocked with all the basics for cooking, tea, coffee, condiments, etc.
We made breakfast and some dinners.
They had games/puzzles.
CM & SM did a couple of puzzles.
They had some sort of cable service so I could watch the World Cup games when I had a chance.

Another concept vehicle. Pretty strange.
Don't like the supra.
Has the claustrophobic type of interior/greenhouse like the Mustang & Camaro.

A fully restored "ponton" Mercedes 220S.
Like new...
In the parking lot of the show/swap.
Looks comfortable...
Looks like a nice place to hang out, looking out to a garden...
In this case, the room looks pretty plain.
It's the content that makes the room feel comfortable and visually interesting.

Saturday, December 3, 2022 - Manhattan Beach Pier
Been over two weeks since my last ride.
Can feel it in terms of loss of conditioning.
The person on the right was playing a violin with backup music.
Sounded pretty good.
Relatively sunny & warm day (high was 69 F).
Catalina is pretty clear.
Thanksgiving Holiday, 2022 -- Fairbanks Alaska -- Part 10 - Monday, 11/21 - Chena Hot Spring
The weather and forecast.
It was the 21st.
They hadn't updated the board.
Not too cold but cloudy.
After the late lunch and the hike, we went back into the hot spring.
(The entry fee allows as many visits as you want during that day. The spring is open till nearly midnight.)
With the colored lights and dark skies, the experience is very different from during the day/night.
On a clear night, there's probably a good chance of seeing the aurora from the hot spring, late at night.
