(3) Colnago Teknos -- Removing the seat and the seat post

The seat is torn in several places (looks like mostly from crash damage)

The clamping hardware has some pretty heavy aluminum corrosion.  Also, the seat post is pushed way down into the seat post.

Removed the seat post bolt.  The seat post is very tight in the seat post & will not come out with normal hand power.  Used a plastic dead-blow hammer to gently tap the post out.  Used many small hits (low power) to very slowly bring the post out.  It took about 5 minutes but it came out without any damage.

The seat tube is wet with some sort of dirty oil.  I'm guessing someone had to use oil to install the seat post because it's so tight.  I wonder if the seat post is too large for the seat tube...

This bike has many places with Colnago cloverleaf and other identifying features, like at the top of the seat stays...

There was a lot of black grease/dirt at the seat post clamp bolt area

S-K & Craftsman tools - after cleaning

Took down the rotten backyard trellis (Had to relocate the phone line box)

Took down the lattice work a while back.  Just took down the trellis woodwork...

Most of the wood has termite damage or dry rot.

Put a new post up to mount the phone/cable lines coming into the house/garage.  The wiring is routed underground to the house.

Dinky Ford -- After taking some of the paint off... May have to disassembly it, strip the paint & repaint it...

As acquired...  Someone used a brush to paint it...

(2) Colnago Teknos -- Installing new white bar tape

The instructions say to start at the end of the bar and work your way to the center.  I did it the opposite way.  By starting at the center & overlapping at the start, the black tape doesn't need to be used.

NOS Honda Parts -- Wiper Arms -- before & after cleaning the bag

The bag is not fully sealed on one end so I could take the contents out...

Plastic bag before cleaning...

Plastic bag after some cleaning...

This is another wiper arm.  The bag is still sealed so I didn't open it.  I just cleaned the bag.

Porsche Speedometer - before & after cleaning

I don't know if I can bent the trim ring back to being round...  It's difficult to get the ring off.
