The hole in the center of the right rear wheel is the wind-up pin.  You insert the key into the center of the axle to wind it up!

This is very cool to have a "shifter" and different speeds!

Interesting glovebox door -- it's cast...  The guy I bought it from thinks it may be from a Terraplane.  Found a picture of a 1935 Terraplane interior & it looks the same.  Terraplane was sub-brand for the Hudson motor company & only lasted a few years in the 1930s.  Great name for a car though!
