| After they make the first turn into the loop, they go downhill on 1st street heading east. They really pick-up speed here (possibly hitting 40 to 45 MPH at the bottom before the left hand 90 turn...) |

| Support Vehicles then the Racers -- Coming into the loop for the first time (There were a surprisingly large number of vehicles -- cars and motorcycles...) |

| Closed Streets for the Race. Nearly no one around... Kinda eerie... |

| The race starts a couple of miles away at the Staples Center. This is the spot where the race enters and leaves the circular route around the City Hall area... (get to see them coming and going) They did 5 laps so get to see them 9 times (the 5th time, they came into the loop & kept on going to Pasadena. |
