914 gauges on the flat file top...
Would like to find a spot in the garage to "display" these.
The gauge cluster bracket/frame needs to be refinished (rusty)...
Bougainvillea -- So fast growing...
There's really not a lot of the bougainvillea left after I had trimmed away about 98% of it.
But, what's left is growing quickly.
I had to trim the one bush that's left somewhat intact so that it wouldn't interfere with the storage bin doors.
The two other bushes that only had a few tall stalks left are busting out everywhere with new growth.
Had to trip a lot of it so it wouldn't grow too much along the bottom areas where it would interfere with the bins...
Lizard in the back yard -- rare to see one around the house...
Rearranged and put away more of the stuff in the back yard (into the storage bins). Just about out of space in the storage bins so some of the stuff is just gonna have to go...

Top of Flat File & sitting on top of it...
Would like to put a "surface" on top of this flat file but it's an odd size so would have to make something custom...
For now, the tool boxes and some "display" items are just sitting on the sheet metal top surface.

Grille Surround, badges & steering wheels...
Need to find a place to hang this 1920s Packard Radiator Surround...
Took these out of one of the under the table saw tool chest drawers. Moved them into one of the flat file drawers...
Took down a few steering wheels and set them on the beige flat file so that I can enjoy looking at them.
Unfortunately, they're in front of some drawers but they're easy enough to move if needed...

Tool boxes under the table saw...
Plan to swap out the blue and greenish tool boxes from under the table saw for ones with drawers.
The ones with drawers are still usable when living under the table saw, whereas these are not really usable where they are...
Moved the blue & green boxes into the outside storage bins.
Took a couple of pictures of what's in the green tool box...
Moved things around to swap in a couple of tool chests with drawers (the wooden Gerstner & the Green SK metal)
The Kennedy chest above the wooden Gerstner has casters mounted on it (from a previous owner). In order to not damage the leatherette on the Gerstner, I put a couple of strips of wood under the wheels.
For the two drawer Kennedy fishing tackle box on top of the SK tool chest, I had to cut and put a couple of spacer blocks so that the Kennedy box doesn't sit on the handle of the SK tool chest.

Solar Decathlon...
Last year, T and another student (senior) started a group at his school to compete in the "solar decathlon" in the single family urban home design category.
They just found out that they won the overall competition (64 teams from universities around the country).
