| Bought the steering wheel from a guy also selling some Scat parts. My friend Chris said the guy used to own the company and sold it a few years ago. I grew up near where Scat is located (near 182nd street behind the South Bay Galleria.) Drove by it countless times when I lived in North Redondo Beach. The guy said that there was a batch of wheels made as a favor for a friend who wanted some nice leather wrapped steering wheels (mostly for use on racing go-carts). This one was a left over from that batch. There's no manufacturer's marking on it. He said that they were made in South Africa. |
