Replacing the hot water supply line to the sink in the small bathroom (before it bursts!)

Decided to replace the line with a reinforced flexible (vinyl/plastic?) line.  This hot water supply line had burst before due to the metal braided line corroding.  Luckily, I was home at the time and was able to catch it before it did any damage (it's amazing how much water flows out in a short time when a line breaks).  This line that I'm replacing again is the previously replaced line.  I think it's only been about 3 to 5 years since it was replaced. 

It's surprising that the steel braided line corrodes like this...

There's very little space to get to the bottom of the faucet.  Had to use a special "faucet" wrench to remove & install the line.

The shut off valve is old but working OK
