They ran out of maps so pictures of the trails...
Did most of the hikes in the park. Most are pretty short...
The name of the park is appropriate to the color of many of the rock formations...

Sunny and not too bad temperature (high 50s/low 60s).
Since it's Sunday, lots of people out and on the bike path...

Union tool chest.
Won't "restore" it. Just clean and lightly improve to be solid and functional...
No key with the chest...
The drawers are in pretty good condition
Appears to be made by Gerstner & Sons...
Metal bottom.
The finger joints are a bit loose/spread
The leather from the handle is nearly gone...
Hardware is all rusty...
This corner of the chest case is pretty damaged (looks almost like rodent damage).
The wood on the bottom of the case is not too bad...
Looks like an animal gnawed at the wood...
The back panel's veneer is separating towards the bottom, but is fully intact. Should be able to glue it back in place...
The case is also very dirty!
All the small drawer handles are in place and in decent condition.

Sunday, December 19, 2021 -- Long Beach Antique Swap Meet - Part 3
Whatever was at the tip of the rising piece broke off.
Guess is that it was a model of the B-36 bomber.
This company was also called "Convair", for short.
Don't know why someone engraved numbers on the bottom...
It's cool that this was made in Los Angeles...

6 prop engines and four jet engines.
Some of them also had a working nuclear reactor onboard (not for propulsion).
