This Campagnolo Seat Post has a very unusual design for mounting the seat to the post. There are two bolts on the top of the post, where it's quite difficult to access and turn the bolts. The two bolts hold down the upper half of the seat rail clamps. They are completely independent of each other. The bolts go into a nut that is circular in side view. Thus, the nuts are able to rotate in the bores that they sit in. There's a slot in the seat post casting that the clamp bolts go through so that the upper seat rail clamps can rotate in side view. |
