Wednesday, August 14, 2024 - Kauai - Lydgate Beach (end of trip)

Stopped at the southern end of Lydgate beach park.

We've spent time at the north end where the rock protected area is.

Haven't seen the south end.

Went for a walk to see more of this area.

There's a very highly designed restroom building.

Very nice.

Headed to the airport after Lydgate.
Had to get gas for the rental car.
WEnt to Costco, like we've done several times during our trip.
Most of the time, there was not wait.
This time, there was a very long line of cars!
We didn't wait.
We went to another "normal" gas station on the road to the airport.
Only needed a few gallons.
The security line turned out to be long.
We were there early enough to make the flight with just the right amount of cushion.
On the way to Kauai, we had to stop in Oahu.
On the way home, we had a direct flight.
