A skunk under the house

We've seen a skunk around the house the last few weeks.  Then, there was some scratching noises from under the house.

Guessing that it wanted a cool place to bed-in during the day when we had the very hot weather a couple of weeks ago.

It broke through the metal mesh.
Blocked the entrance with some old roof tiles for now.
