Saturday, March 18, 2023 -- Red Phone -- Finished cleaning
Bought this phone a long time ago.
Started cleaning months ago then stopped.
Finished cleaning it.
It was covered with dirt/grease/grime that would not come off with normal cleaners.
Had to use a motorcycle chain degreaser that worked the best of 10 different cleaners tried.
Came out pretty nice.
Had to clean the spiral handset cord and the 20 ft. phone wall cord.
213 area code (used to be the only area code for all of LA county).
The Motul Chain Cleaner is the one that worked the best at cleaning the phone.
Also used the "something better" to put a nice finish on it.
