Sunday, April 17, 2022 -- LBASM -- Part 3 -- Skydyne case

Military grade carrying case.

The "top: has a groove and a rubber seal in it so that when it's closed, it's relatively water proof.

There's three holes on either side of the larger compartment.
Something was mounted to it.

The latches are the rotate & clamp type for a secure closure.

Rubber feet on the bottom.

The company is still around and they show how a similar case is used in the military.

Sunday, April 17, 2022 -- Lunch @ NEP Cafe (Fountain Valley) with C&C

The place was crazy busy & very noisy/loud inside.
C&C made reservations so not so bad a wait.
Strange hours (closes at 3 PM).
Parking was so busy, had to park 100 yards away.
Place is about 1/2 mile from CM's house, next to mile square park.

Ube iced milk coffee.
Surprisingly good...

The ceviche was also very good...

Cockpit Spotlight -- cleaned

28 Volt.
Two 12V batteries in series would power it OK.
Or three 9V batteries in series.

Some power tools use 28V Li-Ion batteries (like Milwaukee).
There's also medical batteries that are 28V.

Dimmer control.

The front lens has a mechanism to control the rotation.  There's a red dot and a white dot.  Wonder why?  Won't know until it gets powered up.

The base lets the light be fully adjustable in all directions.
