There were quite a few people around at the pier but I just happened to capture a moment when this view across the pier area was nearly empty of people.
Just left of the picture was a guy trying to get signatures to recall the LA county DA.

Took it off the BBQ at 138 F.
Rises to about 145 F after resting.
Perfect medium.
Also BBQ'd seasoned asparagus.
Came out nice and soft.
Also some summer kimchee.
